Launch of the First “Screen of Awareness” Viewing Tours at the Cinematheque

As part of the “Screen of Awareness” program, the first educational viewing tours were launched this week at the Cinematheque halls, where students engaged in an interactive cinematic experience. The screen became a space for reflection, and each scene served as an entry point for dialogue and analysis.

During the first two days of the event, school students explored carefully selected dramatic and human-centered films, experiencing moments that combined both enjoyment and meaningful messages. Viewing transformed from a silent act into critical dialogue and confident self-expression within a safe and structured educational environment.

The program encourages students to engage with content thoughtfully, ask questions, and connect ideas to real-life contexts—strengthening their skills in critical thinking, analysis, balanced expression of opinion, and engagement with ethical and social issues.

“Screen of Awareness” is one of Al Rajaa Organization’s educational programs. It aims to utilize cinema as an interactive learning tool that integrates values, dialogue, and perspective, while considering the educational, psychological, and cultural dimensions of students’ development.
